West Village Market a staggering success
West Village, just outside Krugersdorp, had yet another successful market day and would like to thank the community for their support and interest in this fun filled day.
The market took place on 16 September and saw great entertainment to the likes of Brian Voget, JD Nelson, Wendy-Anne, Tyque Chapman, and the Legendary Jody Wayne. People crowded by the very unique vintage truck stage to view all the artists singing.
During this fun family event, the community could visit the stalls and buy a vast range of products, anything from homemade goods to antiques. There was even an auction and numerous food stalls where the community could buy mouth-watering dishes such as eisbeins, smoked chicken and even beef and coleslaw burgers.
Nick’s Antiques had a large variety of wonderful goods for sale such as antiques, collectable toys, coca cola collectables and so much more things that you would get nowhere else.
High quality cars were for sale at very low prices by Wild West Park N Sell including a
vintage Morris and a sporty Audi TT on display.
The West Rand Window, who sponsored Jody Wayne’s performance, had Jody Wayne sing some of his greatest hits like Patches and Weeping willow, co-written by Chris F Smith.
Weeping willow, is also published in the book/cd Patches Sielsdrome which won the top country song award in South Africa during 2016.
There was huge support from the West Rand community at the event with old
and young, all dancing, singing and enjoying food and drinks from the numerous vendors who attended the event.
